Overview Head of Maths (IGCSE and IBDP) – Must have Degree + PGCE (or equivalent) + QTS; several years of experience teaching Maths as a specialist subject across the secondary age range (Grades 6-12); a real passion for teaching Art; available to start in August 2026. Responsibilities A strong academic background, including a university degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline, and a recognised teaching qualification. Extensive experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level, including senior years (e.g., IGCSE, IB Diploma, or A-Levels). Proven success in improving student outcomes and leading high-performing academic teams. Expertise in curriculum development, assessment strategies, and the use of data to inform teaching and learning. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to inspire and support colleagues. Personal Attributes Passionate about mathematics education and committed to fostering a love of learning. Visionary and reflective, with the ability to drive innovation while maintaining academic rigour. Collaborative and approachable, with a commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
