Responsibilities
  • Develop and own regional model risk policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Drive consistency of model risk management policies across countries.
  • Lead the management of the model lifecycle, ensuring adherence to policies.
  • Understand regional regulatory requirements.
  • Manage model identification, attestation, and maintain a comprehensive inventory.
  • Prepare model risk management reports for stakeholders and regulators.
  • Establish AIDA model risk management framework and processes.
  • Validate risk models across various types, including financial, non-financial, and Machine Learning models.
  • Perform independent validation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Report findings to senior management and risk committees.
  • Enhance validation processes continuously.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a quantitative field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Risk Management, Model Development, Monitoring, or Validation.
  • Experience with Credit Risk models is a plus.
  • Certifications like CFA, FRM are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and quantitative techniques.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SAS.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
