Job Title: Finance Director (ex-China Operations) Reports to: Finance VP Position Summary We are seeking a seasoned Finance Director to assume full responsibility for the financial management of non‑China operations. Based in Singapore, the future international HQ for this Chinese enterprise, his role will serve as the key financial leader for our international operations, ensuring excellence in accounting, compliance, and strategic financial support within the fast‑paced heavy‑asset industry. Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting: Oversee and manage the complete accounting cycle, month‑end closing, and financial reporting for all overseas projects, ensuring compliance with relevant local and international financial reporting standards. Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long‑range financial planning processes for overseas projects. Provide deep‑dive analysis of budget variances and deliver critical financial insights to support management decision‑making. Tax Compliance & Planning: Take full ownership of all tax matters for overseas entities, including tax filings, compliance management, and effective tax planning to optimize the overall tax position and mitigate risks. Treasury & Financing: Monitor cash flow for overseas projects, manage banking relationships, and provide financial support for project financing activities. Team Leadership & Process Improvement: Potentially manage a small finance team and drive continuous improvement in financial processes and internal controls for overseas operations. Qualifications & Requirements Must hold a recognized international accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA Australia, CA). Experience gained from both leading accounting firm and in‑house companies within a heavy‑asset industry (e.g., Data Centers, Industrial Real Estate, Infrastructure, Energy). Full professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin is mandatory to effectively liaise with English‑speaking & Mandarin‑speaking counterparts at the headquarters and other regional teams. Professional Experience: 8+ years of relevant post‑qualification finance experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity, demonstrating a successful track record in managing complex overseas project finances.
