Overview

MES Support Analyst (Digital Transformation/ Automation/ Pharma) – 12-Months Contract – Location: Tuas – Salary up to $7,000 depending on experience – Industry: Pharmaceutical

Responsibilities
  • Configure system components including workstation assignments, printers, weighing scales, and access rights.
  • Maintain and update specification documents to reflect configuration changes and system enhancements.
  • Support Plug & Produce (P&P) investigations and design to enable seamless integration between MES and Historian.
  • Act as a liaison between Digital, Automation, MES, SAP, and Global Teams to coordinate issue resolution and system improvements.
  • Review and approve technical specifications for MES-related developments.
  • Prepare and execute test cases, ensuring thorough validation of system changes, upgrades and new functionalities.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries to support MES data operations and reporting and troubleshooting if required.
  • Plan and coordinate MES system upgrades, including assessment and rollout of new releases to ensure minimal disruption and compliance with quality standards.
  • System Operations & Troubleshooting: Collaborate with the global support team to troubleshoot or support technical issues across MES, application services, databases, and connected devices (e.g., workstations, printers, weighing scales).
  • Assist in monitoring application performance and availability to ensure seamless and uninterrupted operations.
  • Support user access management in compliance with Sanofi’s standard processes and policies.
Requirements
  • Proficient in both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies, ensuring efficient project execution across diverse teams and timelines.
  • Deep expertise in deploying, configuring and supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Experienced working in GxP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments with a solid understanding of industry standards and validation requirements.
  • Experience in integrating MES with a wide range of enterprise and automation systems: DCS systems (e.g.: Emerson DeltaV); SAP ERP; Data Historian.
  • Technical Proficiencies: Database: MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle; IT support processes: Incident management, change management and service request handling; Application Architecture: Solid understanding of application design.
