Under broad supervision, responsible for a range of moderately complex engineering tasks in new product development, including design proposals, testing, feasibility analysis, mathematical modeling, sample building, and manufacturing process assessment. Develop and implement new methods, designs, and products. Write engineering specifications and analyze test results. Typically requires 3 to 5 years of experience.

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

  • Lead and manage product development projects independently, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, regulatory, and commercial teams.
  • Drive initiatives through the Stage Gate development process, from concept to product launch.
  • Collaborate with international teams, including in the US and Singapore.
  • Generate and maintain engineering documentation such as design specifications, 2D/3D drawings, labels, and test protocols.
  • Analyze product failures and lead root cause investigations using structured problem-solving tools.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and quality enhancement.
  • Support complaint resolution and quality initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain thorough and organized project documentation for traceability and compliance.
Technical Skill Requirements
  • Solid understanding of product development workflows and the Stage Gate process.
  • Experience with Lean principles, quality tools, and design-for-manufacturing methods.
  • Proficient in CAD software; SolidWorks experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and certification processes (e.g., NSF/ANSI standards) is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management platforms like Monday.com.
