Overview

The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of experience in a corporate credit analysis role and would come from a financial services background (banking, asset-backed lending, rating agency). This is a client-facing role requiring strong technical skills and the ability to work under pressure. The candidate must have excellent communication skills for meetings and discussions with senior management of our clients/prospects in Singapore (and occasionally other ASEAN countries).

Responsibilities
  • Decide credit limit requests consistently, within the response time included in Risk Business Model, by assessing buyers with all information available in the Allianz Trade Risk database and market knowledge
  • Monitor the risk portfolio by requesting additional information to Risk office, according to Information Quality Standards
  • Be responsible for a dedicated portfolio of customers, steer it and provide a proactive service level, according to policyholder classification by regularly meeting customers and brokers, and organizing telephone conferences
  • Support Commercial Department in steering customers loss ratio and implement actions to ensure or restore profitability of a portfolio
  • Perform any other ad hoc task as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a financial institution or rating agency as a financial/credit analyst
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the local economic and business environment
  • Expertise in specific trade sectors
  • Ability to interact with senior managers externally to obtain information
  • Ability to network and forge relationships quickly in a multicultural environment
  • Self-starter / Able to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
