  • Three academic health sciences institutions – National University of Singapore (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (including the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies), NUS Faculty of Dentistry, and NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health.

The Departments are seeking highly motivated candidates for a challenging and fulfilling appointment as Registrar on a contractual basis.

As a Registrar, you will:

  • Be part of the care team led by Senior Consultants/Consultants, overseeing the overall supervision and day-to-day running of the wards, including patient care.
  • Demonstrate good diagnostic and clinical management skills.
  • Perform duties as directed by the Head of Department or the Chairman Medical Board of the Hospital.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Active clinical practice.
  • A basic medical degree from an accredited medical university or medical school.
  • At least 3 years of post-housemanship clinical experience.
  • Specialty knowledge.
  • Registration with the Singapore Medical Council.
  • Ability to work independently with demonstrated competence in managing patients.
  • Confidence, initiative, and teamwork skills.
