Overview

QA Inspector — Coherent Corp. This role involves performing final inspections to ensure products meet quality and customer requirements and supporting continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Perform final inspection of coated products to ensure they meet quality and customer requirements.
  • Review and interpret engineering documents, drawings, and sales orders.
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain proper records.
  • Ensure correct segregation, labelling, and packaging of products.
  • Maintain inventory of packaging supplies and support monthly stock check.
  • Report quality issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
Education & Experience
  • Secondary 4 education or above
  • At least 1 year working experience in the manufacturing environment
  • Will be exposed to internal QA procedures, inspection standards, and confidential quality documentation
Skills
  • Basic math skills for measurements
  • Participate in MRB (Material Review Board) activities and monthly inventory counts
  • Meticulous: able to pay attention to details, careful and thorough in work attitude
  • Good verbal and communication skills
  • Able to handle job systematically
Working Conditions
  • This role is 100% onsite
  • Work is performed in a controlled lighting environment
  • High traffic
