An exciting opportunity has opened for a Head of Learning Enrichment/Teacher at the Australian International School If you are passionate about making a positive impact and are driven by growth and development, this role is perfect for you

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years full-time teaching experience, including experience in inclusive education or learning support.
  • Proven experience working with students with diagnosed disabilities or additional learning needs across secondary year levels.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of inclusive educational practices, current research, and the implementation of accommodations/modifications across a variety of settings.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills with the ability to manage a team, communicate effectively with parents & the wider school community, and liaise across departments and subschools.
  • Familiarity with formal examination provision requirements for Australian, IGCSE, IBDP and/or HSC curricula.
  • Experience in international education settings and a commitment to a collaborative and diverse school community is advantageous.
  • HSC and IBDP experience preferred, but not essential
  • Experience in an International School environment would be a distinct advantage
  • Excellent communication skills, multi-tasking and time management
  • Ability to work as a part of a team and an interest in participating in the wider school community

Qualifications:

  • A recognised four-year teaching qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Education or equivalent).
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Special Education or Inclusive Education are strongly preferred.
