VP, Regional Trade Finance Operations, Institutional Banking Group Operations Group Operations enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. As an Operations Department, we embrace and reinforce the strong PRIDE culture that is built up in DBS. This is done through strategic focus on training and improving staff capability, empowerment, productivity, teamwork, innovation & technology, managing operational risks & strongly collaborating with our business partners in delivering excellent RED service to our customers. Responsibilities Lead the Regional Trade projects, collaborating with GTS, Ops, Tech and all other stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical project milestones and deliverables. Develop project plans identifying schedules, specifications, risks and contingency plans. Handle multiple large‑scale and/or moderately complex projects deliverables concurrently. Understand functional requirements, articulate and document user requirements and participate in review sessions with key stakeholders. Continuously gather feedback from all project team members to track progress and mitigate risk. Maintain awareness of technical progress and risks for assigned projects, confer with technical personnel to resolve issues and drive corrective actions. Prepare project status reports and facilitate both technical and non‑technical meetings/design reviews to keep management and other stakeholders informed of project status and related issues. Conduct review/walkthrough sessions with key stakeholders (e.g. Product GTS, Operations BAU, testers and Technology teams) for documents such as user stories, functional specification documents, test plans and cases, and roll‑out training material. Track and monitor production issues with Tech and Ops. Participate in pre‑implementation preparation and post‑implementation support exercises including end‑user live verification during roll‑out. Requirements More than 8 years of strong project management experience with a proven track record (waterfall or agile model). Relevant knowledge on trade systems and experience as a system end‑user is essential. Proven experience in requirements gathering, functional testing and conducting training for end‑users. Expertise in analysing customer requirements and translating them into user stories, test strategy and test cases. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrates good work ethics and ability to adapt to changes and deliver within tight timelines. Highly detail‑oriented, organized and agile. Ability to operate self‑sufficiently under strategic direction. Willingness to adapt to dynamic circumstances. Expertise with Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and other project tools.
