Job Summary We are looking for an Application Support Engineer with atleast 3 years of experience to support, troubleshoot, and enhance critical business applications. The role involves analysing issues, performing root-cause investigation, coordinating with development teams, and ensuring system stability across cloud and on-prem environments.Key Responsibilities Provide Level 1/2 support for business applications and backend systems. Analyse incidents, perform troubleshooting, and coordinate with developers for defect resolution. Monitor application performance and ensure high system availability. Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL scripts. Support integrations using REST APIs, Kafka, or MQTT. Work with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and support enhancements. Perform data validation, performance tuning, and system testing. Maintain documentation, user guides, and operational procedures. Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and change management standards. Must-Have Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Science or related field. Atleast 3 years of experience in application support or backend engineering. Strong understanding of application architecture and relational databases. Programming Languages: Java, Python, C#, Node.js. Frameworks: .NET, Flask, JavaScript. Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, ETL, Stored Procedures. Experience with REST APIs, Kafka, or MQTT. Good knowledge of data modelling, performance optimisation, and Git version control. Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written). Experience working in cloud or hybrid environments (GCP, Azure, AWS). Good to Have Experience with backend development, SQL/NoSQL databases. Exposure to big data technologies and real-time processing. Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. Experience working with engineering or manufacturing teams. Ability to prepare user guides, SOPs, and training materials. Understanding of factory/industrial safety, security, and quality standards.
