Job Details Support the Design Manager in leading and managing the design team across multiple projects. Mentor, guide, and provide structured training to junior engineers to support their technical and professional development. Interpret and manage client requirements, ensuring technical solutions align with project expectations and stakeholder needs. Coordinate with external stakeholders to prepare and present technical proposals for geotechnical and civil engineering projects. Ensure all designs comply with relevant engineering codes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Review and validate design deliverables to ensure accuracy, quality, and timely submission. Lead investigations into technical issues and incidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. Conduct post-project reviews with internal teams and implement lessons learned to mitigate future risks. Actively participate in professional engineering societies and contribute technical papers to conferences and industry publications. Engage with global expertise groups to stay abreast of best practices and innovations in geotechnical design. Develop “Design & Build” geotechnical solutions, including ground improvement strategies where applicable. Provide technical marketing support by presenting solutions to clients and consultants to secure project buy-in. Perform regular site visits to deliver on-site training, ensure adherence to design intent, and promote quality practices and standards. Qualifications A PEB-recognised degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering At least 10 years of relevant experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, Plaxis 2D and Plaxis 3D #J-18808-Ljbffr
