System Level Test Engineer

Talent Acquisition Specialist - ThunderSoft. We are looking for someone with strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as demonstrating the characteristic of an independent and resourceful individual.
The applicant must have a proficient understanding of x86 CPU and GPU architecture and functionality, as well as a broad understanding of various industry standard bus protocols, such as DDR, PCIe, and USB.
Responsibilities- Accountable to drive and develop SLT FTR regression infrastructure to test weekly Firmware / Software releases before integration to SLT Test Program
- Preemptively surface complex, novel, and non-recurring firmware / software issues and drive to resolution to improve SLT Test Program quality and integration time
- Conduct engineering evaluations and analysis to drive closure of production issues
- Influences technical decisions that have a significant impact on final product
- Develop and apply new debug techniques to enhance technical depth in Product and Test Engineering
- May provide technical supervision or mentoring junior engineers
- Upscale overall team capabilities on low level system debug for data center product families
- Strong knowledge and working experience on X86 architecture, GPU architecture, SoC design and power management features
- Experience and with a good understanding of post silicon electrical and mixed signal circuitries
- Familiar with using analyzers and oscilloscopes , and other debug tools
- Experience with data center infrastructure is a plus
- Strong and effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with geographically distributed product engineering teams
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
- Software programming and scripting proficiency (C, C++, Java, Perl, Ruby, Java, Python)
- Proficiency in Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems
- 3 years or more industry experience
- BS/MS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or comparable disciplines
- Seniority level: Mid-Senior level
