Tanglin Trust School Singapore is seeking a University Guidance and Careers Counsellor. The role involves advising students and their parents on GCSE options, Post 16 Pathways (A level and IB), university, higher and further education course choices, and career options. The roleA highly successful period of development provides unique opportunities for outstanding individuals to join our team. We are passionate about education and dedicated to making a difference in students' lives. The University Counsellor will join a busy team to provide advice and guidance on:
- GCSE options, Post 16 Pathways (A level and IB), University, Higher and Further Education, and career options.
- Leading information sessions and workshops for parents and students on systems such as UCAS and the Common App, international university applications, and post-results procedures.
- Contributing to the faculty's resources and sharing knowledge of the British education system and international applications (North America and Europe advantageous).
- Preferably four or more dedicated years of experience in the University Counselling role.
- A teaching background in Secondary education would be advantageous.
- Confidence to lead information sessions and workshops for parents and students.
- Knowledge of the British education system and international applications; North America and Europe knowledge is an advantage.
Closing date for applications: Sunday, 21 September 2025. A January 2026 start would be preferred but not essential.
