For more information on EDB, please visit We are currently looking for a Senior Associate, Manager or Senior Manager for our Corporate Planning and Analytics (CPA) team with experience in corporate planning and/or establishing structures/processes to drive utilization of data. CPA oversees the tracking of EDB’s performance measured by its contributions to economic outcomes and whole-of-government priorities. Arising from its work in performance measurement, CPA also leads the drive towards a data-backed organisation with data use cases looking at customer engagement, developing industry strategies, and achieving operational excellence.(What you will be working on) In this role, you will have an overview of EDB’s desired outcomes and data strategy. You will acquire mastery of the associated systems, processes and platforms to track, analyse and better these outcomes. You will be collaborating internally across different functions at EDB, as well as partnering other government agencies and outsourced partners. You will provide close support and have direct access to our central executive management to use data and other planning tools such as Objective Key Results (OKRs) to develop actionable outcomes to drive corporate performance and priorities.As a Senior Associate, Manager or Senior Manager, you will be responsible for:* Negotiating, operationalizing and reporting on EDB’s key performance indicators (KPIs)* Stewarding corporate wide systems and processes for performance monitoring and tracking* Fronting updates and enquiries on EDB’s performance from key internal and external stakeholders* Taking an organization wide view of data as a resource and how it should be collected, governed and made available to the organization.* Identifying opportunities where data could be leveraged as a tool for organization wide decision making, problem statements and corporate platforms.* Working with engineers from the IT department to support business intelligence, model deployment and decision-automation design efforts, as well as to enhance EDB’s overall data architecture* Partnering various stakeholders in EDB, from management to officers, to initiate, scope, conduct and support data analytics/science projects to implementation* Develop and implement initiatives to improve data literacy and awareness(What we are looking for)To meet the requirements of this role, the applicant must have:* Relevant qualifications in Data Analytics, Statistics or Economics (related science or quantitative disciplines may also be considered)* Mastery in handling data using applications such as Microsoft Excel and Tableau* At least 2 years of working experience in a corporate planning role and/or in a hands-on data analysis/forecasting role* The ability to analyze corporate needs and challenges, and propose solutions leveraging planning or data related tools and frameworks* A collaborative approach towards problem-solving with stakeholders, and the ability to understand and accommodate alternative perspectives* Be self-motivated, able to work independently and resourceful in solving problems* The ability to design processes and systems to capture and safeguard data* Excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to effectively present the key findings of an analysis to a non-technical audience* SingaporeanThe following would also be highly desirable in an applicant:* Logical and systematic* Able to generate ideas* Detail oriented* InquisitiveWe review applications and interview on a rolling basis.
