Overview

Community Care Associate role at Ren Ci Hospital – Ang Mo Kio, Singapore.

Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship by actively listening to the residents' wishes and concerns, and ensure that measures are taken to keep them comfortable
  • Facilitate and support all aspects of the residents' daily lives, considering individual preferences. Part of a self-managed team, responsible for creating an environment that enhances residents' quality of life
  • Provide basic care and services to residents in activities of daily living, including assistance with personal hygiene, toileting, diaper changing and showering
  • Monitor health status and vital signs
  • Perform tube feeding / Nasogastric tube (NGT) feeding for residents
  • Perform basic wound care
  • Assist to serve pre-packed medication and/or apply prescribed topical medication
  • Perform and monitor individualised therapy intervention
  • Any other duties assigned by supervisor
Job Requirements
  • Certificate/training in Healthcare support & ITE Home Care program
  • Preferably possess experience in household management and/or eldercare
  • Able to perform 2 or 3 rotating shifts and work on weekends/public holidays
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS Office
