Legal Affairs Specialist

We are seeking a meticulous and committed Legal Affairs Specialist to manage the company’s legal and compliance matters. This is a newly created role, and the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business units by providing sound legal counsel and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
What You’ll Do· Assist in advising on compliance-related matters globally, including employment law, ESG, corporate governance and trade compliance, ensuring alignment with legal standards and industry best practices.
· Conduct legal research and monitor developments of compliance in major markets (especially Europe) and assist to provide strategic legal insights to support business decisions.
· Support the delivery of legal training programs to enhance employee awareness of legal and compliance issues.
· Undertake other projects and tasks assigned to support overall legal and business objectives.
Who You Are· Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB). Admission to the Singapore Bar is an advantage. A law degree from the U.S. or Europe is also welcomed.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in legal roles, ideally with exposure to employment, and/or compliance law.
· Strong legal drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Able to work independently and as part of a team.
· Familiarity with legal frameworks in the U.S. and Europe.
