Overview

Geotechnical Engineer - 2025 Graduate role at Mott MacDonald in Singapore. Join to apply for the Geotechnical Engineer (Graduate) to work in the Transport team. The role supports detailed design of geotechnical and tunnel engineering and calculations, technical reporting, and engineering tasks across transport projects.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, outline and carry out detailed design of geotechnical and tunnel engineering designs and calculations (e.g., soil investigation, slope analysis, groundworks).
  • Prepare method statements and engineering proposals.
  • Attend meetings with clients, contractors and authority organisations.
  • Visit construction sites to carry out site inspection and supervision.
  • Coordinate with team members, clients and government authorities on design and stakeholder interfacing.
  • Liaise and work with the project team of engineers and drafters.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor.
About You
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Strong interest in pursuing geotechnical design engineering in a consultancy environment.
  • Digital aptitude, strong learning mindset and commitment to driving social and sustainable outcomes.
  • Collaborative, open and constructive approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Team player who is enthusiastic, driven and committed.
