Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Manage intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and consolidation adjustments across multiple entities.
  • Ensure compliance with SEC/US GAAP disclosure requirements, including interim and annual reporting.
  • Oversee month-end close activities, including review of journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Partner with auditors and external advisors during quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions, including digital assets, fair value measurement, leases, revenue recognition, and investment accounting.
  • Support tax, treasury, and operations teams with accurate financial data for decision-making.
  • Mentor and supervise junior accountants; ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in reporting processes.
  • Stay updated on accounting developments, particularly crypto asset guidance under US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Coordinate and support SOX audits, including preparation of required documentation, walkthroughs, and testing of key controls.
  • Lead and manage local statutory audits for subsidiaries, ensuring timely submission of audited financial statements in compliance with jurisdictional requirements.
Skillset Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 6–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 1 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and consolidation accounting (multi-entity, multi-currency).
  • Experience with digital assets/cryptocurrency accounting highly preferred.
  • Public company or audit firm experience (Big Four or equivalent) strongly desirable.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
