Foreign Wholesale Bank – Singapore We are looking for an experienced professional to join the Transaction Banking team as a Director . This role will focus on structuring and delivering bespoke trade finance and sector-specific solutions for corporate clients across Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with front-office to understand client needs and market dynamics, and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Structure and execute complex trade finance transactions, ensuring solutions are scalable and replicable across clients and industries.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Credit Risk, Treasury, and Product teams to ensure solutions are commercially competitive and risk-mitigated.
  • Support pitching, structuring, approvals, and documentation for client transactions.
  • Work with FX and Cash teams to drive cross-sell opportunities through product bundling.
  • Stay ahead of industry developments, identifying both risks and new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • 10+ years’ experience in trade finance, structured trade, or transaction banking across multiple industries.
  • Strong expertise in deal structuring, credit analysis, and cross-border trade regulations in Asia Pacific.
  • Proven ability to deliver commercially viable client solutions and manage complex transactions end-to-end.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with credibility across front office, product, and risk functions.
  • Prior experience in a global or regional wholesale banking environment is preferred.

This is a senior individual contributor role offering the opportunity to shape and execute innovative structured trade solutions, working directly with top-tier corporate clients across the region.
