Overview Epidemiology team conducts emerging and re-emerging infectious disease surveillance and communicable disease outbreak management in SGH. The Epidemiologist is responsible for: Responsibilities Daily emerging and re-emerging infectious disease surveillance; Conducting contact tracing to mitigate and/or control infectious diseases including vaccine-preventable infectious diseases and multidrug resistant organisms (MDROs) detected in SGH and Outram campus; Conducting disease outbreak investigation and making recommendations on diseases containment; Provision of epidemiological and statistical expertise for the planning, design, analysis, and reporting of statistical information; Epidemiological study for identifying incidence, prevalence, causes or risk factors of human morbidity or mortality; Providing support for statistical analysis on audit and research programs Qualifications Master or PhD in Public Health or Epidemiology Expertise in the use of one or more statistical software packages (e.g. SAS, STATA, or SPSS) and Microsoft Office Candidates with good publication records in journals will be an added advantage #J-18808-Ljbffr
