Job Description Vice President, United Overseas Bank Ltd Job Summary The Vice President will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives, managing key client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of United Overseas Bank Ltd. This position requires a strong leader with proven expertise in their respective domain, capable of leading teams and delivering exceptional results. Job Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing work environment. Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with the bank's objectives, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue growth. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions. Oversee and manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential risks and opportunities. Represent United Overseas Bank Ltd at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and build strategic alliances. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks. Prepare and present comprehensive reports and recommendations to senior management on performance, market insights, and strategic initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to achieve shared goals and optimize operational efficiencies. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and service delivery. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or relevant Master's degree is highly preferred. Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in the banking or financial services industry, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role. Demonstrated track record of successfully leading teams, achieving business objectives, and managing complex projects. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. In-depth knowledge of financial products, services, and market dynamics specific to the banking sector. Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and develop new business opportunities. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements within the financial industry. Proficiency in relevant financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
