Introduction The Supply Chain Consultant will play a key supporting role in ensuring seamless procurement and supply chain execution for marine and oil & gas projects. Working closely with the Deputy GM / Site Procurement Manager, the consultant will assist in procurement planning, supplier management, contract administration, and logistics coordination. This role is ideal for a professional with strong domain experience who can bridge operational procurement needs with project delivery requirements. Responsibilities Procurement Support: Assist in developing and executing procurement strategies aligned with project objectives. Coordinate sourcing activities, including RFQs, bid evaluation, and vendor selection. Support negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions. Contract & Compliance: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and administering supplier contracts. Monitor compliance with contractual terms, delivery schedules, and quality standards. Maintain accurate documentation for audit and reporting purposes. Supplier & Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors in the marine and oil & gas sectors. Liaise between project teams and vendors to resolve issues and ensure alignment. Prepare regular progress and performance reports for management review. Logistics & Project Coordination: Support the coordination of logistics, shipping, and material delivery to project sites. Work with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, HSE) to ensure timely supply of equipment and services. Contribute to risk mitigation by identifying supply chain bottlenecks and proposing solutions. Requirements Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Or Contract Management, preferably within the Marine and Oil & Gas industries. Solid understanding of international procurement, incoterms, and logistics. Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with MS Office; ERP or supply chain management systems is an advantage. Professional certifications in supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CSCP) are an advantage.
