Responsibilities
  • Create and Administer an Oracle Database, Pluggable Databases
  • Configure and Administer Oracle Net Services
  • Create and Manage Database Storage
  • Handle Database migration
  • Manage Automated Maintenance Tasks
  • Monitor and Tune Database Performance
  • Manage Oracle Database instances, including initialization parameters, and learn to start and stop databases as per operational requirements
  • Enforce database security by managing users, roles, privileges, and audit policies to protect data integrity and comply with security standards
  • Configure Oracle Net Services to facilitate communication with Oracle instances
Skills Requirement
  • 2-4 years of experience in Oracle Cloud and Oracle Database administration.
  • Understanding of Oracle database architecture and administration.
  • Familiarity with Oracle RAC and multitenant architecture.
  • Oracle backup and recovery concepts using RMAN, datapump, and export/import.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud (OCI), Exadata, and Exadata (ExaCC).
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive learning attitude.
  • Good in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and analytical tasks.
  • Communication and coordination abilities are required, along with initiative and a sense of ownership.
Good to Have
  • Exposure to various Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as Ansible and Python
