Solutions Architect – Data & Analytics Apex Systems is hiring a Solutions Architect to place at a top Canadian Bank. The engagement is a 6‑month contract located hybrid – 2 days a week in downtown. Client Top Canadian Bank Terms 6‑month Contract Location Hybrid – 2 days a week downtown Role Overview As a Solutions Architect within the Data & Analytics team, you will design and deliver scalable, high‑performance solutions across multiple business domains. You’ll modernize legacy systems, build new platforms, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. Key Projects Currency Modernization – Replace legacy CRM systems, upgrade technologies while preserving business processes. Mortgage Application Platform – Build an end‑to‑end mortgage application covering legal workflows, title management, and customer interactions. Key Responsibilities End‑to‑end solution design and implementation across web, desktop, and mobile platforms. Partner with Business Analysts, Engineers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Provide architectural guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and best practices. Apply event‑driven architecture, caching strategies, messaging queues, API gateways, and Azure authentication. Conduct deep‑dive analysis of legacy systems with limited documentation to support modernization efforts. Technical Environment Languages & Frameworks: Java, .NET, Python, Angular, Spring Boot Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Azure (authentication, cloud‑native services) Data & Reporting: SQL, Power BI AI & Advanced Technologies: RAG, Agentic AI patterns, LLMs Requirements Proven experience as a Solutions Architect in enterprise environments. Hands‑on development experience in Java, .NET, or Python. Experience with AWS and event‑driven architecture. Familiarity with AI concepts and their application in modern systems.
