Senior Trader / Head of Office – Oil & Gas

For one of our clients, an international oil & gas trading company, we are seeking to recruit a Senior Trader / Head of Office to lead their Singapore operations.

Your Mission

  • Manage own trading books with full P&L responsibility
  • Identify and capture trading opportunities across global commodity markets
  • Ensure rigorous risk management and compliance standards
  • Expand the company’s footprint in the Asian market by developing counterparties, clients, and partnerships
  • Contribute to strategic decisions on new products, geographies, and structures
  • Represent the company as Head of Office in Singapore
  • Build, mentor, and manage local teams in alignment with the group’s global strategy
  • Act as the key bridge between headquarters and the Asian market

Your Profile

  • Senior-level trader with a proven track record of managing full books and generating sustainable P&L
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to grow a business and establish a strong regional presence
  • Well-connected within the global trading community, with a strong network in Asia
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of managing and motivating teams
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability, comfortable in both growth and operational contexts
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Singapore
