Role Responsibilities Lead and implement components within the SABRE risk platform with a focus on scalability, robustness, and fault tolerance. Develop innovative solutions with quick feedback cycles and advise on full-scale rollout. Take ownership and accountability for critical deliveries in an agile environment. Provide second line support in a dynamic front-office environment, communicating with the business to understand issues and provide timely resolutions. Collaborate with team members and senior stakeholders to design and implement strategic solutions, engaging with business stakeholders to meet exacting requirements. Work in a global team with business analysts, project managers, stakeholders and other technical experts across locations. Key Roles & Responsibilities Work closely with the Development Manager, Project Manager, and a team of developers to deliver quality features and enhancements for internal users. Demonstrate a systematic architectural, system design, and programming approach. Write robust code with a strong emphasis on test coverage and best-practice software design principles. Self-starter who can drive requirements and development efforts. Design smart and scalable solutions following bank standards. Coordinate with other technology teams; develop and maintain system documentation and procedures. Provide second line support during production issues. Our Ideal Candidate 8+ years C#/WPF/.NET development experience building performance-critical desktop applications. 8+ years hands-on development within investment banking IT. Strong knowledge of Agile practices and the software development lifecycle. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies. Self-starter, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced front-office environment. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workstreams and own issues through delivery.
