Overview

The role is for Contracts Manager to procure and manage construction and construction related projects.

Responsibilities
  • Procure the services of consultants and contractors for HDB's new development, upgrading, infrastructure and related projects.
  • Manage contracts including processing of payment claims, administering submission of certificates/warranties/agreements, monitoring project expenditure and preparing cash flow projections for budget control.
  • Oversee the works of private Quantity Surveying (QS) consultants during design, tender, construction and post-construction stages; set and manage project cost budgets, call tenders, evaluate and timely award tenders, obtain approval for variation works, monitor and check valuation of variations and project final accounts prepared by QS consultants.
  • Provide procurement and contractual advice and cost estimates for feasibility studies.
  • Be exposed to the entire procurement cycle from pre-tender planning, tendering and approval process, contracts management and post-contract administration for ICT projects.
What we are looking for

You should possess a background in Building, Quantity Surveying, Project & Facilities Management, or a related discipline. You should have strong communication and writing skills and be able to work effectively in a team. You should preferably have at least 5 years of relevant working experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract. All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted for the position within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
