Job Summary The Project Director will oversee the overall operations of the company, ensuring all projects are executed efficiently, safely, and within budget. This individual will be responsible for managing resources, developing strategic plans, maintaining client relationships, and driving company profitability. The role requires expertise in construction management, financial acumen, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams across multiple construction projects. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day operations across all projects and departments, including Project Management, Safety, Procurement, and Human Resources, to ensure seamless execution and operational excellence Coordinate site operations with office-based functions by providing clear leadership and fostering collaboration among teams Define and monitor short-term and long-term goals aligned with the company’s vision to drive measurable progress and business growth Develop and implement strategies for adopting new and emerging building construction and civil engineering technologies to enhance project delivery Formulate comprehensive project execution plans covering logistics, equipment deployment, construction methodology, manpower allocation, and scheduling to optimize resource utilization and meet deadlines Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of internal and external processes, delivering timely and accurate reports on company performance and operational health Collaborate with senior management to design and implement scalable operational systems, processes, and personnel structures that support rapid organizational growth Delegate responsibilities strategically to qualified employees while enforcing company policies, procedures, standards, training programs, and cultural values to maintain high performance and compliance Resolve internal staff conflicts promptly and constructively to maintain a positive and productive work environment Partner with senior management and departments to develop and execute strategic initiatives that align with company objectives Initiate and enforce best practices, procedures, and standards in compliance with relevant laws and company policies to ensure operational integrity Lead efforts to apply for and coordinate achievement of industry awards that enhance the company’s reputation and market position Oversee and execute the company’s sustainability commitments across projects to promote environmental responsibility Drive continuous improvement by planning, organizing, and conducting audits to assess process effectiveness and efficiency, and by implementing process engineering and industry best practices Establish, implement, and maintain the company’s Integrated Management Systems (IMS), Workplace Health and Safety, and Environmental Management Systems to ensure regulatory compliance and operational safety Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support company objectives and growth. Requirements Minimum 10 years’ experience as Project Director Completed at least 2 projects in Singapore as Project Director Experience in hospital, office, or laboratory projects Managed projects with contract value above S$200 million #J-18808-Ljbffr
