Senior / R&D Food Technologist

Food Technologist is responsible to support research and development of new products and/or process, which includes the innovation and renovation of products/process, with the objective to support long term growth of the dairy and beverages business of the F&N Group and its subsidiaries. This role requires you to interact and work cross functionally to ensure projects are executed in an efficient and effective manner.
Responsibilities- Assist and lead product development from concept, trial to commercialization in line with overall strategic direction and objectives
- Identify room for improvements on existing products, ingredients and processes
- Manage and timely deliver assigned projects
- Lead and conduct trial runs/commercial runs/trouble-shooting
- Working closely with product leaders, project manager and specialists on planning, carrying out, and following up on trials/tests in relation to innovation and renovation of products/processes at Pilot Plant
- Proficient knowledge on food regulations and compliance
- Assist on planning and transformation of current documentation system into paperless system
- Degree in Food Science/Technology/Engineering/Nutrition/Chemistry/Microbiology or related field
- Preferably with 2 -5 years experience in Food & Beverage industry, preferably with Beverage Research & Product Development background (hands-on experience in operating Pilot Plant is ideal)
- Posses project management skill
- Team player with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
