Strategic Problem Decomposition & Analysis

  • Apply a structured, hypothesis-driven approach to break down ambiguous, high-level business questions into a series of addressable data points and analyses.
  • Lead the translation of executive vision and concerns into analytical frameworks and project plans.
  • Go beyond reporting and deliver synthesized insights with clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.

Business Insights & Strategic Reporting

  • Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive suite of dashboards and reports to provide 360-degree view of business performance.
  • Proactively identify and investigate potential risks and opportunities, assessing their strategic and financial impact.
  • Craft a clear narrative that guides stakeholders from the problem statement through the analysis to a logical, data-backed conclusion, facilitating C-level leadership buy-in.

Strategic Data Science Leadership

  • Help Data Science Manager to lead the global data science roadmap, aligning advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives with business objectives.
  • Partner with business intelligence, strategy, product, and regional business teams to identify high-impact opportunities.

Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 8+ years of experience in consultancy or fintech industry, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience applying analytics in business contexts (e.g., growth strategy, market expansion, business performance optimization).
  • Excellent communication skills, able to influence and engage C-level executives globally.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and multicultural teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
