To manage procurement activities by working closely with various organizations to optimize cost, quality, inventory, and delivery, consistent with the lowest total cost of ownership.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement supply chain procurement and procurement engineering processes and strategies for manufacturing and product development services.
  2. Ensure cost, quality, and supply assurance.
  3. Include supplier selection and development, contract negotiation and administration, quality management, product and process/tool qualification, new product development and quotation, and cost reduction activities.
  4. Perform other duties as assigned by the company.
  5. Develop commodity strategies and business plans to support projects.
  6. Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors.
  7. Drive cost reduction activities.
  8. Manage supplier costs and allocations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement within the electronics industry.
  • Experience in procuring mechanical and electromechanical parts and knowledge of the vendor base.
  • Good negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities, initiative, and a drive for success with a good understanding of total customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to organize, schedule, control costs, maximize efficiency, and solve problems.
