Business Analyst (IT and Software Applications)

Job Description & Requirements

As the Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in deriving and presenting cost estimates based on proposed solution architectures and client-specific requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering requirements analysis.
  • Provide required technical documentation:
  • Design Documents (Preliminary, Final).
  • Statement of Works for suppliers and external contractors.
  • Input/output requirements for Interfaces Management.
  • Input for specialty engineering: RAMS, EMC/EMI, Cyber-Security.
  • Input for Installation Management.
  • Assist the bid team to scope and cost engineering work packages.
  • Work with contractors to produce costing and ensure timely delivery.
  • Report and follow-up on KPIs for the sub-system.
  • Participate in progress meetings.
  • Analyze and address Problem Change Requests.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline (essential).
  • Demonstrated engineering competencies required for INCOSE CSEP (or equivalent, or ASEP) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Engineering role.
  • Able to interpret technical scope from high-level requirements.
  • Experience with Governmental and/or complex IT Projects.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working on Software Security projects.
  • Experience within a Systems Engineering lifecycle.
