OverviewWe are looking for a qualified trainer to conduct training programmes in the Tamil language. The successful candidate must be proficient in spoken and written Tamil to effectively deliver training, communicate with learners, and prepare course materials in Tamil.
Responsibilities- Conduct training sessions and competency demonstrations for Construction / Shipyard / Oil & Petrochemical / Manufacturing / Logistics Industries/ Fork Lift Operation/Scissor Lift Operations / Boom Lift Operations/ Scaffolding/ Formwork/ Safe Lifting / Riggerand Signalman.
- Ensure all training complies with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Develop and update training materials, course content, and assessments.
- Mentor and coach trainees to achieve competency in their respective fields.
- Adhere strictly to the Code of Ethics for Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Trainers.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to assess training needs and customize courses accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and certification.
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous learning among trainees.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in competency demonstration within the specified industries.
- Full ACTA certification requiredPossession of Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or Specialist Diploma for WSH.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in handling Construction / Shipyard / Oil & Petrochemical / Manufacturing / Logistics Industries/ Fork Lift Operation/Scissor Lift Operations / Boom Lift Operations/ Scaffolding/ Formwork/ Safe Lifting / Riggerand Signalman courses.
- Must have completed the Code of Ethics for WSH Trainers Course.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage learners effectively and facilitate practical competency demonstrations.
- Immediate availability to start.
- Proficiency in spoken and written Tamil is essential, as the roleinvolves conducting training and communicating with Tamilspeaking trainees.
5.5 days per week, with 8 working hours per day.
