Job duties and responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines.
  • Collect, clean, and transform raw data into formats suitable for analysis.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of data storage solutions, including databases and data warehouses.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of best practices in data engineering.
  • Document processes, data flows, and pipeline architectures.
Job requirements and qualifications Required Qualifications
  • 1+ years of working experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java.
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database concepts.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve technical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Skills and Technologies
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with big data tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
  • Exposure to data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
  • Understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
