Equity Research Analyst — Singapore Equities

Overview
Our client is a global financial services research firm with a strong presence across Asia-Pacific, North America, and beyond. Renowned for independent, data-driven insights, they are expanding their Singapore operations and are seeking an Equity Research Analyst with a dedicated focus on Singapore-listed equities.
Responsibilities- Maintain active coverage of approximately 15–25 Singapore-listed companies across sectors such as Consumer, TMT, Industrials, Financials, and Energy/Materials.
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, applying valuation techniques (DCF, SOTP, DDM, scenario analysis).
- Monitor policy, macroeconomic, and regulatory developments in Singapore (e.g., MAS/SGX) and assess their impact on valuations and earnings.
- Publish clear Buy/Sell/Hold recommendations and thematic reports on Singapore market trends.
- Conduct primary research, including expert calls, surveys, and company visits.
- Integrate ESG considerations into investment research and analysis.
- At least 8 years’ relevant experience in equity research, ideally with prior exposure to Singapore equities.
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills; proficiency with Bloomberg/Refinitiv/FactSet or similar platforms.
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; CFA progress/qualification is an advantage.
- Completion of CMFAS Modules 6, 6A, and CM-CMP (required).
- Strong communication skills, with ability to present complex analysis clearly and concisely.
