We're rethinking homes for how people really live, and we're looking for a Category Management Lead Specialist to join our Category Management team, with a focus on the casegoods category, to help shape the future of living—one thoughtful detail at a time.

Merchandising at Castlery balances art and analytics — building thoughtful assortments that speak to both style and strategy.

What you'll be doing:

  • Fully understand the product matrix, assortment strategy, vendor capabilities, and basic product cost structure.
  • Support the manager with market studies, benchmark mapping, and preparation of new project and design briefs (subject to final manager approval).
  • Independently manage end-to-end new product development (NPD) from internal alignment meetings through to product launch.
  • Ensure on-time product launches and lead all cross-functional team communications related to the product launch.
  • Provide strong support to the manager in related tasks.

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in consumer product development, with a proven track record of successfully launching and developing products in a competitive market.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify emerging trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Basic proficiency in spoken and written Chinese to facilitate regular communication with China-based buying and design teams.
