Role Summary As the strategic and creative leader of the Landscape team, the Principal Landscape Architect drives the design vision, fosters innovation, and ensures design excellence across all projects. This role combines strong creative direction with strategic oversight — guiding high-level project delivery, mentoring senior staff, and building lasting client relationships. The Principal Landscape Architect champions environmental stewardship, urban resiliency, and original, human-centered design thinking in every project. Key Responsibilities Lead master planning, urban design, and landscape architecture projects from concept to delivery, ensuring strong creative and strategic outcomes. Establish and maintain client relationships, identifying and pursuing new opportunities aligned with the studio’s design ethos. Define, communicate, and guide the creative vision across all project stages, ensuring design excellence and innovation. Inspire, mentor, and develop team members, nurturing both creative and technical growth. Promote a culture of design innovation, research, and collaboration within the team. Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to deliver integrated, high-quality design solutions. Travel to UAE and Oman for project workshops, site visits and support work winning. Projects based in Oman, UAE and SE Asia Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field. Chartered / Licensed Landscape Architect (or equivalent professional accreditation). Proven creative leadership on large-scale, complex landscape or urban design projects. A strong, visionary design portfolio demonstrating creativity, innovation, and sustainable design thinking. Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
