Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renowned wildlife parks connecting visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces, and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Provide proper and consistent husbandry, housing, care, feeding, training, enrichment, and presentation of the animals to achieve the highest level of positive welfare as per the Group’s Animal Welfare Code.
  2. Identify and report any abnormalities, signs of possible health concerns, and/or behavioral issues in animals.
  3. Complete daily recordkeeping forms for feeding, weights, behavior, training, and enrichment as required.
  4. Report repairs and renovations as required.
  5. Maintain the highest quality of animal presentations and guest interactive programs with the aim to promote conservation.
  6. Participate in shows as presenter, handler, and/or backstage support.
  7. Conduct training sessions with assigned animals and behaviors within completion timelines.
  8. Participate in discussions and contribute to the design and development of new animal behaviors, routines, and presentation ideas for the shows and programs.
  9. Other relevant duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 'N' Level qualification.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience in animal care, veterinary medicine, training, or shows is preferred.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Effective and motivated team player.
  • Able to present in front of crowds and work with animals.
  • Able to contribute to new concepts and ideas to improve presentations.
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays.
