IT Executive

Working hour : 8am to 5.45pm Mon to Fri
Working Salary : $3,500 to $4,000
Working Location: Admiralty

Job Scope:

1. IT Infrastructure Support

  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware (PCs, printers, barcode scanners, etc.)
  • Support network infrastructure : LAN/WAN, switches, routers, Wi-Fi
  • Ensure servers and data storage are running smoothly (file servers, domain controllers)

2. System Administration

  • Manage user accounts , email, Active Directory, file permissions
  • Monitor IT security (antivirus, firewalls, data protection policies)
  • Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place

3. Manufacturing/Production System Support

  • Provide technical support for MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) , ERP, or factory-specific systems
  • Troubleshoot machine-PC communication issues (e.g., PLCs, IoT devices)
  • Ensure system uptime to minimize production downtime

4. Software & Application Support

  • Install, configure, and maintain standard and custom software
  • Provide technical support to end-users
  • Liaise with software vendors for updates, bugs, or new implementations

5. IT Policies and Compliance

  • Implement and enforce IT policies , data protection, and access control
  • Support ISO/IEC 27001 or other relevant compliance needs if applicable

6. User Support & Training

  • Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues
  • Provide training or guidance to staff on using systems or software

7. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain IT asset inventory
  • Prepare incident reports , maintenance logs, and update manuals
  • Support audits and provide technical documentation

Requirement

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT support, networking, or systems administration
  • Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is a plus
  • Knowledge of:Windows OS (client & server)
    Network support (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routers, switches, Wi-Fi)
    PC setup and troubleshooting
    Basic server administration (Active Directory, file sharing, backup)
    IT security (antivirus, firewalls, user access control)
  • Familiarity with:ERP/MES systems
    Printers, scanners, barcode systems
  • Required to do on-site support in production areas
  • May require after-hours or weekend support during downtime or system issues
