Chinese Curriculum Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Chinese Curriculum Developer to design, implement, and enhance the Chinese language curriculum for Preschool and Primary school levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood and primary education, curriculum development, and instructional design, with a deep understanding of language acquisition and child development. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Design & Development: Develop comprehensive Chinese language curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, and assessments tailored to the developmental stages of Preschool and Primary learners. Instructional Materials & Resources: Create age-appropriate teaching resources, activities, and multimedia content to support curriculum delivery and engage young learners. Curriculum Review & Improvement: Conduct regular evaluations of the curriculum and make data-driven recommendations for revisions to ensure alignment with educational standards and student needs. Implementation & Training: Provide guidance and support to teachers in implementing the curriculum, including delivering training workshops and instructional coaching. Research & Best Practices: Stay informed of current trends in early language education, integrating pedagogical best practices and cultural relevance into curriculum design. Data Management & Documentation: Organize and maintain curriculum documents, assessment records, and relevant data for reporting and improvement purposes. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s preferred) Minimum 3 years of experience in curriculum development or Chinese language instruction at the Preschool and/or Primary level Strong understanding of child development and language acquisition in young learners Proficient in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin); English proficiency is an advantage Excellent organization, communication, collaboration skills Familiarity with digital tools and educational technologies is a plus Preferred Attributes: Creative and resourceful in designing engaging learning experiences Passionate about Chinese language education and early childhood learning Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
