Overview

Ashford Benjamin are partnering with an investment bank that is hiring for a Head of Model Risk Management. This is a senior, newly created headcount for individuals with strong experience in Model Risk (market risk, credit risk, derivatives pricing, etc) across model risk governance framework, model validation, regulatory and internal compliance as well as cross-functional leadership. This role is based in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and shape the model risk management program across risk areas including market risk, credit risk, and derivatives pricing.
  • Own or contribute to the model risk governance framework, model validation, regulatory and internal compliance activities.
  • Provide cross-functional leadership and oversight to stakeholders across the organization.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.
  • Strong experience in model risk management and related governance, validation, and regulatory/compliance processes.
