Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies, policies, and procedures in the logistics industry. Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions. Manage supplier relationships and conduct performance evaluations. Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. Monitor market trends and supplier capabilities to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of procurement activities with business requirements. Coordinate and oversee the procurement process, from purchase requisition to delivery and payment. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical practices. Generate reports and analysis on procurement performance, costs, and savings. Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in procurement and logistics. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field. Prior experience in procurement, preferably in the logistics industry. Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices. Experience in supplier management and negotiation. Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Attention to detail and accuracy.
