The Opportunity

The Opportunity As an Executive-Technical with our New Car Logistics department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day PDI workshop operations.

Responsibilities
  • Handling complete automotive workshop operations
  • Collaborate with other team leaders in the department or with other stakeholders to ensure smooth operation and meet management objectives
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections and quality checks in accordance with manufacturer standards prior to customer delivery
  • Familiar with the latest automotive developments, accessories installation, bodywork conversion and PDI processes
  • Systematic, professional and complex diagnosis of the vehicle using diagnostic tools and facilities to determine fault causes and rectification
  • Provide training and guidance to Technicians and lead the team to meet the company’s requirements on timely delivery of new vehicles
  • Provide accurate technical advice and information whenever necessary
  • Perform final control checks and test drive to ensure satisfactory completion of jobs
  • Construct and present various reports on workshop operations using Microsoft Office for reviews on operations
  • Any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time
Qualifications
  • A minimum qualification of Diploma in Automotive Technology or related discipline
  • 5 years of relevant experience in automotive PDI operations
  • Minimally possess a valid Class 3 driving license. Class 2B, or Class 4/5 would be advantageous
  • Strong leadership capabilities to lead a team
  • Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with initiative and a positive attitude towards learning
