Overview Join to apply for the Specialist, Aircraft Payments and FP&A role at Scoot Responsibilities Manage aircraft payments ensuring that rent, maintenance rental and delivery payments are processed on time. Handle insurance claim submissions and compile underwriting information for submission to insurance brokers. Budgeting and forecasting activities, and support ongoing system enhancements to improve financial processes and operational efficiency. Manage aircraft leases (including rent, maintenance reserves invoice verifications/claims) and provide support to Legal and Engineering teams on lease-related matters. Verify and check aircraft pre-delivery and final-delivery invoices from Airbus and Boeing against contractual rates, ensuring payment is processed prior to each aircraft"s delivery, and provide support to Legal, Engineering, and Corporate Planning teams. Maintain fleet profile data and ensure it is up to date. Monitor insurance claim statuses and ensure timely settlement by insurer/reinsurer. Gather and review data from multiple Scoot departments to compile underwriting information for submission to insurance brokers. Review contracts – financial and insurance-related clauses. Qualifications Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Prior experience with Netsuite and Workday Adaptive Planning is a plus. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Self-driven, able to work independently and in a team, and perform well under pressure. Well organized and meticulous; proactive and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Good team player.
