Planning Manager

Job Description: Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project in line with project requirements. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend mitigation measures. Conduct critical path analysis and resource planning to optimize project timelines. Prepare progress reports and present updates to management and stakeholders. Review and analyze architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for constructability. Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical discrepancies. Ensure compliance with BCA regulations, building codes, and authority submission requirements. Manage design changes, RFIs, and shop drawing approval processes. Propose efficient construction methodologies to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness. Participate in value engineering exercises to optimize design and construction processes. Provide technical inputs and construction sequencing support during tender submissions. Identify potential risks in schedules and technical aspects, proposing practical solutions. Work closely with project teams to address site constraints, logistical challenges, and delays. Liaise with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with the master schedule. Mentor and guide junior planners and engineers in best planning practices. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum 8-10 years in planning and technical roles within Singapore's construction industry with a main contractor Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and BIM (Revit/Navisworks). Strong knowledge of BCA regulations, construction methodologies, and authority submission processes Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities. Certified PMP, CCT (Certified Construction Manager), or equivalent is a plus.
