OCI Network Availability seeks a senior manager to lead a Networking Engineering team responsible for operational excellence within the OCI physical network. This role involves working closely with network engineers to build and maintain services and tooling, and collaborating with partner teams to facilitate network management.

  • This role is open to Singaporeans and PRs only.
  • Successful candidates may need to obtain and maintain security clearance for government projects.
  • 5+ years in large-scale physical network support.
  • 3+ years in engineering and operations management.
  • Experience in technical leadership and management.
  • Experience in hiring, onboarding, and performance management of engineers.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Good judgment to influence product roadmap and priorities.
  • Prior experience with large-scale cloud networking operations.
Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Attract, develop, and manage a team of skilled network engineers.
  • Define and develop roadmaps for operational efficiencies.
  • Establish and report on metrics for service availability.
  • Solve complex issues in distributed systems, infrastructure, and high-availability services.
  • Collaborate with various engineering teams to deliver highly available services.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for managers.
