Always provides proactive supervision and directionto ensure the waste heat boiler isoperatingas tomaintainsafety, environmental, and operational priorities at theoptimumproductionlevel
To ensure critical plant parameters are within the target and provide guidance and advice for corrective actionin the event ofany plant upsets or hiccups which include conducting investigation/troubleshooting
Be knowledgeable on how to achieve operating targets and strategies (KPI), and lead the operating team to achieve thoseresults
To plan and communicate effectively with HOD to ensure the target isachieved
Take measures to keep sufficient levels of reagents and consumables for daily plantoperations
Toproperly planfor equipment handover to maintenancetoachieve minimum equipment downtime. This includes equipment handover planning for shutdown andturnaround
To review and update operational work process update and reviewi.erisk assessment (RA), standard operating procedure (SOP)
Assistin preparation andmonitormonthly budgets for reagents,consumables,and all other controllable operating expenses.
To support report writing/dashboard development to management on plant performance and compliance
To provide support to technical compliance,safetyand HR team related with operational training development and tracking within operationteam
Support the engineering department on plant improvement initiatives and capital projectbase
Take the lead inenergy management,improvement/modification initiatives. This includes management of change (MOC) implementation, design review, commissioning new facilities and lead Pre-Start Up Safety Review (PSSR)
Create andmaintainformaldocuments
Check standard and regulatorycompliance
Liaise with MOM, NEA for Boiler annual statuary inspections and report submissions.
Prepare procedures, check list and training materials to train technicians and operators.
Co-ordinate with maintenance and engineering department and contractor for attending the respective works
Co-ordinate withother departments on steam supply.
Coordinate with Purchase, Admin,accounts,and sales to send the related documents in correcttime
Sourcing materials,contractors,and spares and liaise with suppliers for materials and spare parts purchase anddelivery
Liaise with external parties and organizations for the commercial and technical improvements of theplant
Liaise with internal departments and external party for new projects execution.
Responsible for plant safety and housekeeping
To hold safety responsibilities for the role and report any unsafesituation
Any otherad-hocduties as and when, assigned by Plant Manager and Chief Engineer

Education

A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore.

Certification

2nd Grade Steam Engineer / 1st Grade Steam Engineer

Work Hours

Able to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and public holidays
