Our client is a reputable marine consultancy firm providing technical, engineering, and advisory services to shipowners, operators, and offshore clients. With deep expertise in ship management, marine engineering, and compliance, the company is expanding its commercial team to strengthen client relationships and develop new business opportunities across the region. Position Overview We are seeking a Sales Manager with strong technical understanding of marine engineering and ship management to drive business development, client engagement, and project acquisition. The ideal candidate will combine commercial acumen with technical insight to effectively communicate value‑added solutions to clients in the maritime and offshore sectors. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the company’s marine consultancy portfolio. Identify and engage potential clients including shipowners, ship managers, classification societies, and offshore operators. Work closely with technical teams to translate client requirements into tailored engineering or consultancy solutions. Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and presentations to prospective clients. Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business. Conduct market research and identify emerging trends in marine engineering, ship management, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with management on pricing strategies, marketing campaigns, and business expansion initiatives. Attend industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to represent the company and strengthen its market presence. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related discipline. Minimum 3 years of experience in marine consultancy, ship management, or technical sales within the maritime industry. Good understanding of technical operations, vessel maintenance, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., IMO, SOLAS, ISM). Strong communication, presentation, and client relationship management skills. Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and able to work independently or within a team environment. Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings or project discussions. Preferred Skills Existing network within the ship management or marine services community. Experience with technical audits, condition surveys, or marine inspections is an advantage.
