Reports to Marketing Lead About She Loves Data We are a 28,000-strong global nonprofit in 16 chapters dedicated to educating and inspiring women to become active contributors or leaders, in an increasingly data and AI-driven world. We collaborate with partners worldwide to create impactful projects that advance women’s participation and success in tech. Join us as a volunteer and play a key role in managing projects that positively impact women and economies. Role Overview We are seeking a Marketing Content Specialist to join our global volunteer team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, long‑form content writing, and social media engagement. You will work closely with your fellow Marketing team members to create impactful content that inspires and educates our community while strengthening She Loves Data’s presence across platforms. Key Responsibilities Write long‑form articles, blogs, and thought leadership pieces that reflect She Loves Data’s mission and programs. Support the development of social media content (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms) to engage and grow our community. Collaborate with your fellow Marketing team members to plan and execute campaigns and content calendars. Ensure consistent tone, style, and messaging aligned with the She Loves Data brand guidelines. Contribute creative ideas for enhancing outreach and storytelling efforts. Key Requirements Experience in marketing, communications, or content writing (non‑profit or tech‑related experience a plus). Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling, audience‑centric narratives. Familiarity with social media management and digital marketing best practices. Creative mindset with attention to detail and a collaborative spirit. Ability to commit volunteer hours, i.e. 4‑6 hours per week, and join monthly team calls within SEA working hours.
